Testimonies...God is real and He loves you!

I was raised in a non-christian home. I was sexualy abused at the age of 5 by men who were friends of my father. At the age of 7 I was sexually use as a partner to a 13 year old cousin(female). At the age of 13 I was used as a sexual partner to a married a woman that was 29 years old and married to my cousin. At the age of 19, while in college an engaged to marry, I felt into a homosexual relationship, which nearly destroy my life. I started into bisexual relationships after my separation from my husband.
From there on life was a total disaster. When I was 13 years old I had met a friend, who a couple of months after gave her life to Christ and told me about Jesus. I got mad. But she prayed for me, even when I was miles away, and always told me about Jesus. At the age of 29, already divorsed, and with a child, one night, the Spirit of the Lord came to my bedroom. I cried without knowing what to do. The Spirit told me He wanted me in Church the next day. I said I will. I called my friend, who had prayed for me for 16 years, and asked to please pray for me. I needed strenght. I told her my experience with the Holy Spirit. The following Sunday I could not wait for the moment that they will make the Altar call. I received Jesus as my Lord and savior. That was May 3, 1993. I praised God for my freedom and my salvation, for the presence and blessings of the Spirit upon my life, and also for the precious gift of a team of Pastors(husband and wife) who thrully have blessed my life. I testified to my child in tears and fears, and in was painfully beautiful. The devil can not hold me back.
I will lift up my testimony, for the Glory of Jesus. He set me free, He can do it if you want Him to. Today I am A worshiper for the Lord. Thank you Lord. I love you Jesus.

A teen-age neighbor molested me when I was three years-old. Later, a cousin, also in his teens, led me into homosexual encounters. As I got older, I pursued men solely for sexual gratification. I went to church, but kept my sin a secret. I believed that I could live my life my own way and still have God on my side. I WAS WRONG. I quit church and God altogether. God never stopped loving me and convicting me. I finally asked God for forgiveness and a change in my lifestyle. He answered my prayer. Only then was I able to walk away from the homosexual lifestyle and begin to grow in Christ. Today, after being love-starved for years, Jesus is real to me. I now have a wife and two children and couldn't be happier. II Corinthians 6:9-11. Barry

I was sold into homosexuality at the age of twelve by a family member. By the time I was eighteen years old, I was an alcoholic, sold drugs and took drugs myself. I was into the homosexual lifestyle for eight years., at which time the Lord Jesus set me free!! Psalms 34:6," This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of his troubles." "I grew up having fantasies about other women. In high school, I fell in love with another woman. The relationship became mentally abusive. She wouldn't let me leave the house, she screened my phone calls, became violent and would trash the house. She told me that she was the only one who would ever love me. I wanted a "normal" lifestyle. For three years, I endured this unhappiness. We broke up several times. Each time I asked God to take away these feelings. Despite the fact that homosexuality was wrong and this woman did nothing but abuse me I still wanted to be with her. Through patience and prayer I have found release from this sinful lifestyle. "My children always meant the world to me. As the boys grew I was quite proud of them. I thought that nothing could make me feel far away from God. But something did. When J. was Eleven years old I felt that my son was changing. He didn't like my embrace anymore and he didn't want to go to church. Then I learned that a man had been sexually abusing him for eight months and threatening to shoot his mother if he told anyone. J. eventually tried to commit suicide, but failed. He couldn't live with the guilt. In the years that followed, we never did understand why God allowed this to happen, but today our family has grown in love and understanding, and in the knowledge of God's never-ending love." I am a walking testimony to God's goodness. I was physically abused by my dad, sexually abused by my step dad, and raped by my boy-friend. All of this resulted in deep depression and bulimia. When I didn't eat I really hurt my body and I will suffer consequences for the rest of my life. I had fallen away from God during my teen years, but now I have rededicated my life to Jesus. I love Him more than anything and if it wasn't for Him I wouldn't be alive now. Because of my experiences, I have been able to lead several people to Jesus. He has healed me of some of the side effects of my eating disorders and I can still have children. I am very grateful. He has done a wonderful work in my life. Sabrina. I live at home now with my mom,sister,and my stepdad.I can honestly say that I love him and I forgive him.He is precious in God's sight too.One more thing, I love myself now I see myself as God sees me.Thanks for listening to my story...well it's really God's story.

This verse was such a comfort to me.God is always there.Always even when I'm alone.

At fifteen I was date raped and became pregnant. I was told that abortion was the way to go but I just couldn't do it. I knew that I could not parent a child at the age of fifteen. I chose to give the baby up for adoption. It seemed as though everyone that meant anything to me was against my decision. She is now fourteen years old and we are very close. She is also very close to my other two children. The family that adopted her have other children and both our family and there's are very close. I'm very glad I chose to give Chelsea up for adoption. Cris, thanks for sharing these testimonies. At first, I thought you were talking about your personal testimony. But then I realized, these testimonies are from different people. Right? Can you share a little more about who these people are? Maybe not their names and identity, but just information that you could share to demonstrate these testimonies are from real people who have been set free from sin and saved by Jesus Christ!
